Established since 2007, RASAC P&K has are committed to challenging gender-based violence and recognise that sexual violence is both a cause and consequence of gender inequality in our society. We offer free and confidential support to anyone who identifies as a woman and all young people age 12-18 years, who has experienced sexual violence at any time in their lives. We offer support regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, transgender identity, age, disability, and religious and cultural background. RASAC P&K Prevention Services work with young people across Perth & Kinross delivering sexual violence prevention workshops in schools and community settings, as well as delivering a range of community engagement and development opportunities within the wider community.

This post will be responsible for the operational management of RASAC P&K Services and deputising for the Chief Executive Officer when required.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our dedicated team, providing a range of Support, Prevention and Advocacy services for survivors of sexual violence living in Perth & Kinross. The post holder will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors to lead on the development, delivery and evaluation of existing and new services. The post will also involve working with a range of stakeholders to improve the identification of, and responses to, sexual violence. This will include applying and reporting to a variety of funders as required.

We are looking for someone who is collaborative in their approach, has excellent inter-personal skills and is able to adapt quickly to change. A commitment to a feminist analysis of gender -based violence is essential, alongside a minimum of 2 years management/leadership experience. Current or former experience of working in the Violence Against Women sector is desirable.

Funding for this position is indicative to the end of March 2025. RASAC P&K will endeavour to secure ongoing funding beyond this date.

This new role, developed in the context of our recently updated fundraising and sustainability strategy, will strengthen our ability to address the ever-increasing demands on our service, and the challenges of the current funding climate. We are looking for a creative, highly organised and experienced Fundraiser who seeks a new opportunity within a values-led charitable organisation working towards the end of sexual violence.

The role will work in close collaboration with the Centre Manager and will be responsible for planning, developing, and delivering on key aspects of P&K RASAC’s fundraising strategy.

The charity already has a strong track record in securing grant funding. This aspect of the charity’s work will largely remain within the remit of the Senior Management. The focus of the new role will be on diversifying the charity’s income streams in the areas of individual giving, corporate donations, and community fundraising in its broadest sense.

The role will initiate and develop relationships and partnerships locally and nationally with donors and prospective supporters, and will actively create new fundraising opportunities and programmes for the charity, all with the aim of ensuring the financial resilience of the organisation to deliver on its mission and charitable objectives.
