This is an exciting opportunity to become Chief Executive Officer at The Rape & Sexual Abuse Centre, Perth & Kinross. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled CEO to lead RASAC P&K's skilled and dynamic team, and work collaboratively with our Board of Directors to deliver the organisation’s strategic plan and objectives.
The role requires an experienced and effective leader, with the ability to lead across both the strategic and operational work of the organisation. You will have a clear understanding of and commitment to trauma-informed, feminist management and leadership.
You will be an experienced manager with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and have a track record in strategic planning, people management, fundraising and charity finance management, and successful multi-agency partnership work.
This role will be based in Perth city centre and offers a hybrid working pattern with one day per week to be worked from home in line with the organisation’s needs. Further information about this can be discussed with applicants who are shortlisted for interview.

Established since 2007, RASAC P&K are committed to challenging gender-based violence and recognise that sexual violence is both a cause and consequence of gender inequality in our society. We offer free and confidential support, information, and advocacy to anyone who identifies as a woman and all young people aged 12-18 years, who has experienced sexual violence at any time in their lives. We offer support regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, transgender identity, age, disability, and religious and cultural background. RASAC P&K Prevention Services work with young people across Perth & Kinross delivering sexual violence prevention workshops in schools and community settings, as well as delivering a range of community engagement and development opportunities within the wider community.

The post holder will assist the CEO, operational manager and team leaders as required, undertaking general administration/recruitment duties and support for the whole organisation. The post holder will deal with enquiries (telephone, e-mail and social media), maintain databases, organise events bookings, and undertake filing, minute taking, and petty cash.
The post holder must have a good knowledge of Microsoft packages, particularly Outlook and Word; be IT literate and have good keyboard skills; have good planning and organisational skills; be a good communicator and be experienced in managing websites and social media. The post holder must have knowledge and understanding of domestic abuse within Black Minority Ethnic communities.
She should have a relevant qualification, preferably HNC or equivalent in administration-related subject, and a working knowledge of an office.
Post involves unsocial and flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

BME Outreach Women, Children and Young People Support Worker

Shakti is a feminist Black Minority Ethnic voluntary organisation which offers information, advocacy, emotional/practical support and refuge/temporary accommodation to all Black Minority Ethnic women and their children, who are experiencing or fleeing domestic abuse.
The post holder must be a bilingual speaker in a community language; preferably Arabic.
The post holder will support Black and Minority Ethnic women, their children and young people experiencing and/or fleeing domestic abuse or forced marriage. Applicants ideally have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of working with Black and Minority Ethnic Communities; especially, women, children, and young people; an understanding of the legislative and cultural issues surrounding domestic abuse/forced marriage and their effects on Black and Minority Ethnic women, their children and young people.
Post holder must have a minimum of SVQ Social Services and Healthcare at SCQF Level 6 or above to meet registration requirements of SSSC or relevant qualification such as degree in Social Work or Community Education.
Post will involve unsocial and flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

This role focusses on offering practical and emotional support to women who have experienced domestic abuse. Support is offered to women who are living in our safe accommodation and on an outreach capacity.
The successful candidate(s) will have at least 2 years of experience in a role where you have supported vulnerable clients. You will also hold an SVQ 3 Health and Social Care or equivalent or be willing to undertake this upon completion of your probationary period.
